Meagan Monique Good was born on the 8th, 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle her mother who was her manager during her teens and her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. She began acting at 4 years old after being raised at home in Canyon Country with her siblings. When she was in the beginning stages of her career, she performed as an extra on shows like Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. At the age of 13, she got her first role in the film Friday. She first gained attention for her role as the problematic teen Cisely Batiste in the movie Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she received two award nominations including her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good had small parts in television and film during a short period of time after which she moved on to mature roles by the beginning 2000s. She appeared as Nina in Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. From 1998 until 2001, she appeared as Nina on the Nickelodeon television show Cousin Skeeter. Also, she appeared in tiny roles in the films House Party to the Last Minute (1998) and 3 Strikes (2000). In 2003, she portrayed Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. The actress also appeared in D.E.B.S in 2004 an action-comedy film, which got her nominated in the category of Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards of 2005. Later, she was a part of films like You Got Served The Cookout Venom, One Missed Call Waist Deep and The Love Guru. In 2012, she was also featured on T.V. as well as in film, she played Mya in the multi-starring Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends.
